Dr. Joachim Sehrbrock, R.Psych.
Dr. Sehrbrock is the director and founder of Alethea Services. He is a Registered Psychologist (R.Psych. 1945), psychotherapist, educator, and author.
He has provided psychological services since 2005 and has experience helping individuals with a wide variety of psychological challenges.

Zach Finley, MA, RCC
Zach is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), mental health therapist, and educator.
He has provided mental health services in a variety of community mental health settings since 2007 with a particular emphasis on substance use treatment.
Zach has served in several leadership roles in community mental health since 2017. He joined Alethea Services in 2020.

Psychiatric Residents
Our psychiatric residents are medical doctors (MDs) currently training in the UBC Psychiatry residency program. They offer supervised psychodynamic psychotherapy as part of a specialized two-year training program under the close supervision of Dr. Joachim Sehrbrock.
This treatment option is ideal for patients seeking long-term psychodynamic therapy and who are prepared to participate in weekly psychotherapy sessions over a two-year period. Sessions provided by our residents are offered free of charge.
